Tokyo Dome
I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Perfume “4th Tour in Dome [LEVEL3]” Concert on Christmas Eve this year. It was a delight. The crowd, mostly couples it seemed, was super well behaved. Everyone queued politely in the line for merchandise. Everyone participated in the silly singing and dancing the girls encouraged. And, everyone filed out of the auditorium in an orderly fashion. Not what I’m used to at ALL for these big events.
I’d never been to a Perfume concert before and it was distinctly different from other jpop concerts I’ve been to. About a quarter or more of the concert was talk. A~chan was practically a stand up comedian commenting on the crowd’s outfits and fan signs. They made a little Christmas dance for everyone to do. There were laser lights like none other. And, great use of projection technology.
My favorite merchandise is by far the train pass case. It’s high quality and lights up when the pass inside is used.
