I had the privilege of seeing Wicked here in Japan this past spring. It was very, very well done. Most of the songs and dialogue translated rather well. The costumes and set pieces were loyal to the original. And, the audience was full of happy little kids with wonder in their eyes. Exactly what you would hope.
